Route 4 Glassblowing Studio - Shop for Beautiful Hand Blown Glass, Quechee Vermont

Glass blowing is a fun and unique experience. Whether you would like to try it just for fun or as a possible occupation, our classes will work for you. First time students can take one class or several. This gives you the opportunity to see if you like blowing glass before you commit to more classes. No experience is necessary. You will work with a skilled instructor. The amount of pieces you can make per class depends on your experience. Students with no experience can generally create 3 pieces (paperweight or ornament) in a one hour class.

Cost:

Cost is $80 per hour (One hour minimum)
Weekend, Weekday or Evening class times are available
Includes all tools and materials

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age. ( or 16 years with parents permission)
Must sign a release of liability
Approved clothing and the supplied safety glasses must be worn
Bring your own water or drink - the furnaces are extremely hot and you must keep yourself hydrated
Long sleeve shirts and long pants must be worn during classes

Please Note: Finished pieces need to cool overnight. You will be able to pick your piece up the next day, or if you like, you can arrange for shipping. Unfortunately, we are unable to store your pieces, so please pick them up promptly or make arrangements for shipping.
